Community Futures East Interlake is a proud part of Community Futures Manitoba, a community-based economic renewal initiative funded by the Government of Canada and directed by local volunteer boards.  Our main objectives is to help rural Canadians start, purchase or expand their business and to help sustain and improve our regions communities and their local economies. 

Manitoba’s 16 Community Futures corporations, of which Community Futures East Interlake is a part, deliver a variety of services including loans, technical and advisory services for small and medium-sized businesses, business services targeted to youth and entrepreneurs with disabilities, and community economic development and planning.

Community Futures East Interlake strives to be recognized as the premiere source for business and community economic development support in the east Interlake region. This is accomplished through:

• Innovative and inclusive programming in economic development;
• Provision of business services and financial support for new and existing businesses; and
• Modelling of effective governance, fiscal prudence and support and development of a knowledgeable, creative and well trained delivery team
