Our Successes In 2014

Womens Wellness Workshop 2014

Our Women's Wellness Workshop held in Grandview was a huge success thanks to Prairie Mountain Health and the "Healthy Together Now" Grant! With 90 registered participants our day was filled with fun, activities, and important information that all women should be aware of.

The day started with Marli Brown enlightening us on Mental Wellnes and Finding Normal. Followed by some chair yoga, Arthritis and Self Care practices. We then had a delicious gluten and allergy free lunch preparded by BJ's Country Kitchen which was sponsored by The Grandview Credit Union, and the Parkland Credit Unions.

We were then educated in the afternoon on Alzheimer care and Pelvic Floor Health. Throughout the day the Grandview Pharmacy was offering a Bone Density Test to all participants that wanted to measure their bone density, and mini make over sessions we also availble which were done by Megan Morran.

The day ended with a "Salad In A Jar" Activity", which was a lesson in how we can make a fast healthy meal ahead of timel!

A BIG THANK YOU to all of our Sponsor!!!
