On Jul1y 19^th at the Discovery Centre in Brandon, Mb. Community Futures Westman held its 4^th Annual Acton Children’s Business Fair. The fair is designed for children ages 5 to 15 to set up and run their own business booths.

Since it’s inauguration in 2022 the Fair has grown. In the first year it attracted 7 booths, year 2 10, year 3 there were 13 participants and this year there were 21! The products ranged from bio degradable dog treats to hand made flowers.

In just 4 hours the children were able to generate over $2,000 in sales! In addition, judges were able to award $100 prizes to each booth for their efforts in a variety categories such as top sales, best sales pitch, best display and best marketing to name a few.
