Learning about financial literacy was on the agenda again in Brandon, MB on Thursday January 25th as Community Futures Westman brought informational sessions to town. In partnership with the BDC, Joel Kempthorne of Farley Kempthorne Chartered Professional Accountants LLP presented two sessions to a group of entrepreneurs looking to learn more about small business in Canada.

The sessions offered were Top Five Common Mistakes Startups Make, as well as Financial Survival for Entrepreneurs. The attendees had a lot of questions that were addressed, and they are eagerly awaiting the next session being brought to the Brandon area.
